I am so proud to join the 2018 class of the University of Amsterdam’s (UvA) graduate school program, Planning the Cycling City. This short-term summer school program works to:
“Unravel urban cycling from a critical and interdisciplinary perspective, drawing on historical and current events.”
This is such a great opportunity to be able to immerse myself in the cycling culture of the Netherlands and engage with the infrastructure and programs that make Amsterdam a world-class cycling city. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow students while bringing back a wealth of knowledge and skills that will support my urban planning work toward the creation of stronger cycling cities. The program will run June-July, so stay tuned to this blog for updates and insights as I start the program.
